My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club, is having a contest, where we are being challenged to use our Die-Namic dies. I felt particularly challenged as the only dies I have are the larger Banner Dies and the Open Scallop dies. And no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't think of anything "different". So I decided to "sleep on it" and think it over for a few days.
I woke up this morning feeling inspired. I decided to make a birthday card that I would like to receive for myself. You see, it's my birthday (I'm 31 by the way) and since I was out of ideas otherwise, I figured why not? ;)
I used MFT "Ballet Millie", "Wendy Alphabet", and both the Banner and Open Scallop dies. I used Spellbinders Lacy Circles, Classic Circles, and a Scalloped Circle. I used all MME "Lost & Found" papers.
And I actually used glitter for the first time, too! I had decided to cut a frame from the edges of the MME glittered papers, and placed some thin pop up foam under it to frame it out, so it would look like a stage. I actually had so much fun and was so inspired with the glitter that I used some old RAK glitter to add to Millie's Bow and little Ballet shoes!! I LOVE those two touches, they just make me smile
This is a card that I would love to have received but since I didn't, I made it myself! LOL! ;)

I just dearly love your sweet card! Beautiful glitter and frilly layers are just great! I always wanted to be a ballerina as a child, took ballet class when I was 40. Reminds me of Lionel Richie's song, "Ballerina Girl" have you ever heard it? Happy Birthday! Rosy
