I know I'm very late for the tea party, but with the holidays and all the snow, it took me a long time to get to Minnesota! That was our destination this week: MMTPT125 ~ WATER COLORS, OILS & CHALK! HEY, WHAT'S THAT UNDER YOUR SMOCK? by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers We are taking art lessons from Leonardo with Rob Boss. We've all been given a blank canvas and 42,000 paints to work with and we are here to create our own masterpiece! Now you all know I can barely draw a straight line, so I snuck a couple of stamps under my smock. Do you think anyone will know I didn't draw Mona on my own? I am hoping they will just think I'm a quick study!
In real life, this card is for our fellow teapotter, Kris (krischir). Kris had surgery on both wrists/hands this past week and we are sending cards of encouragement and cheer while she is recovering. You can read about it here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Hope Kris has a quick recovery and is back to stamping in no time!
TFL!
Oh, and I used Sketch #195 from the Card Positioning Systems blog for this week's 2010 Year in Review challenge: http://cardpositioningsystems.blogsp...ew-part-1

Mona won't tell that you used stamps! The other Tea Partyers, they're full of cookies, so they won't tell either! This is a very nice and artistic card!

What a beautiful act of "Defiance" as Bev (triasimite) calls it -and "Mona" is so well showcased by your piece of DP with the script - gives your card such a classy look!
