My WT302 "Nature Walk" birthday card for my nature loving DH Denny's January Birthday. What a quick and easy card to make using the new Botanical Gazette DP from the soon to be released SU Occasional Mini as my base. I stamped the fly onto the DP and stamped the fly again with Early Espresso #stamping off once# onto V Vanilla CS and then cut out with my papersnips and attached with dimensionals. I then stamped the No. 147 with E. Espresso. I punched a corner of the DP with my SU corner punch and popped up with dimensionals. The eggs I stamped using Marina Mist on V Vanilla and cutout and popped up with dimensionals.
I outlined the bird on the DP with my Crumb Cake marker to add more dimension and cut out the DP with the tip of the tail left outside the box.
Each layer is also popped up on dimensionals. Lots of popping going on with this card. I love how it turned out and I think Denny will like it too. It was so fun playing with new DP and stamps.
The photo was taken at a pretty sharp angle so you can see the popped up layers and dimensionals.
Back to my Christmas bread. Just about ready for Christmas. It was fun taking a little break. Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all of SCS :-)
I am adding my card to the new SU Creative Crew 2011 Challenge for January Catalog Focus. Making a card with new products from the Spring Occasions Mini.

This is a beautiful card! I love all the dimension you put into this.....especially the eggs and the fly! This could almost be a Marjolien Bastien card!

Another beauty Nancy! I love how you let that gorgeous dsp do all the work and all those great popped up features. This is great inspiration for me to finally pull out my new goodies too.

OK Nancy - this is one of the coolest cards ever! I love everything you did and it came out so well. I was seriously debating getting that set and paper and now I totally want to get it! Seriously, this is amazing. Sorry I haven't commented much lately - lots of stuff going on (too much to detail here). Love your card!
