Since I had a very busy day yesterday, I am uploading a card for both challenges, SC and WT.
I need to make just a few New Year's cards, so with Mom, here is our joint venture.
Yesterday I went to PT, then to the car dealership a few towns away, and bought a new car. Went with DH to his office, the bank (of course), out to lunch, and then to the Registry. When I went to get the car, they told me my license had expired last May! DUH! So I had a FAB time at the Registry, and then went to collect my broken car at the repair shop, which meant I had to go by all the malls. Gridlock! By the time I got home, that was enough for me. Mom arrived, and we sat in the kitchen with some wine to unwind as it snowed, and that was the best part of the day!!!
Hope you like OUR card. Mom says Hello and HUGS to you all, and thanks you again for all your wonderful birthday cards for her 88th!
P.S. 2nd DUH! Mom said we should have used RED and black hats! Yeah, sure, she tells me that now!!

Pretty card, Anne, with those sparkly hats and layers of embossing. After the holidays, I'm going to be in touch, and find out how you make those beautiful bows, they're always so perfect. Have a wonderful time with your Mum!

Well, a red hat for you for sure, but those pastel colours are fun and festive and look fabulous on the white. Hi to your mum .
I'm always trying to keep an eye on when my dad's licence expires - he only gets one for three years at a time at his age. It ain't easy to keep remembering.
