I'm not old enough to be Grandma Moses (American Primitive Artist b. 1860 - d. 1961) yet!! She didn't start painting until she was in her 70's. This little tree reminds me of the little pitiful forlorn Christmas tree in the Peanuts cartoons by Charles Schultz. But I did not CHEAT!! This is 100% hand drawn by me. I know, nobody believes that I could be so talented!! I surprised myself with my attention to detail and creativity (NOT!!). I hear they might be doing full body searches at the door to check for contraband (i.e. rubber stamps). They will not catch me!!

Back in the days before our daughter decided she was allergic to real trees we always preferred the Charlie Brown trees, they always looked the best when they were decorated. I love your little Charlie Brown tree.

I like your little Charlie Brown tree! Look at it this way, there aren't a lot of needles to pick up. I live in the city where the Charles M Shulz museum is, I bet there's a tree like this out front. Probably a few around town too, where we have many statues of Charlie Brown.

What a sweet little tree, and fun story - the best thing about card making is that each one is unique and never more so when you've hand drawn the image - a lovely card!! Just wondering, do they make Grandma Moses stamps???!
