Thank you card for my sweet Sistah, Christina, (affectionately known to me as Chrissy Cakes) for this precious stamp in a Christmas card this week. The main image is from Lili of the Valley, Ltd and is watercolored with Copic highlights. Crystal Effects is on the shoes, eyes and teapot.
I loved getting to know Maryrose via her gallery this morning, and was touched by the way she used scripture on her cards. When I saw The Earth is the Lord's, I knew this was the card to case! Maryrose, your work is beautiful, and shows the Light- I love that! I kept Maryrose's basic layout, changing the colors and images.
I used another Christmas gift, a Verve Scripture from my Southern friend, Tosh. (thanks GF!) I love the verses from Verve and the fonts. I sponged inside a nestie (another "Tosh" trick) and added leaves from my treasured Kitty Kit to frame the words, adding dew drops as Maryrose did on her scripture verse.
Maryrose, enjoy your week. Thank you for sharing so much in this place!

This card is very sweet and touching - whenever I see two little girls, it always reminds me of me and my sis and either brings giggles or tears! Lovely card and beautiful sentiment.

Pat, I just caught this upload. There's so much to adore it's hard to know where to start. How can you go from a weathered and distressed cowboy to a sweet and feminine card like this? I love your image and it is colored perfectly. All the extras you added and the stitching add so much to this already adorable card. And, that teapot charm - LOVE IT!!

I just love how this card turned out! Just beautiful! Can I find out where you or your friend got the girl picture from, since it doesn't sound like it was a stamp from your description. I'd love to make something similar for my (only) sister's birthday coming up, and she'd flip over this picture!! Thanks so much!1
