I got the idea of making this card by using a CD Sleeve from http://alwaysinking.blogspot.com, check out the tips & tricks section.
The CD sleeve is 5 X 5, the base of the card is 51/4 X 51/4 which is SU Real Red CS. I cut a piece of shimmery teal cs, 1/8" smaller than the CD sleeve so it fits nicely inside. I stamped snowflakes on the teal cs with tempting turquoise, then stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I also used the 2 way glue towards the bottom, then added Diamond Dust. I stamped the snowman with black stazon on GP white cs, used the 2 way glue pen on the snowman, then used the SU Flock for the body and colored with SU markers. I also drew a black line underneath the snowman with a black sharpie, again used the 2 way glue pen and added Diamond Dust, then I cut out the snowman. I attached a 3D square and stuck him on the circle. I used the 2 way glue pen again around the circle, then added Diamond Dust. I stamped a snowflake with SU tempting
turquoise and added a small red adhesive rhinestone to the center.
I had so much fun making these, it took about 15 minutes. I may sneak more CD sleeves out of my DH's computer supplies and put them into my stamping supplies....shhhh!
