For today's Ways to Use It challenge, All that Glitters. Welcome to Kim, our new hostess!!
I used glitter via an iridescent Studio G Sparkle Writer to give sparkly, shimmery highlights to the dragonfly's wings on the front of this Post-It note holder. This will be a Christmas gift to one of my daughter's Girl Scout troop leaders to thank them for their leadership and their time so far this year.
I followed the most excellent SCS tutorial for making this style of Post-It note holder (found in the resources section). I didn't have any golf pencils to include with these holders, so I broke a new regular-sized wooden pencil in half and sharpened each half down to the desired size with our electric pencil sharpener.
Still trying to make some little gifts for Christmas!
Thanks for looking!
Emily

You are amazing! You broke the pencils What we won't do to get the desired result, right? This is gorgeous and I'm sure she'll be tickled to receive it.

Emily, what a wonderful little gift. I love your blue on blue, your design and the glittery little dragon fly is too cute.
I keep thinking I will make some of these but haven't gotten around to it yet...there's still time before Christmas. Thanks for the idea.
