I needed some paper therapy today & what a way to do it - multiple challenges! It took me all day yesterday to do 2 cards, I was a bit better today. I've mentioned b/f that we are losing our pooch to cancer. Heartbreaking for sure.
FS201 - this is for Lisa who is this weeks Featured Stamper. She is so deserving of this. I loved looking through her beautiful gallery. Lisa has left me some most appreciative comments. To honor her, I case'd her first card, Wlegant Notes, seen here: Elegant Notes by lisaadd at Splitcoaststampers
I kept pretty true to her layout, changing stamp sets, colors, leaving off the lines of pearls, no piercing & less layers.
IC261 - Bronner's Christmas World. I've been there & we dropped a ton of cash there!!!! I was inspired by this Santa ornament: http://www.bronners.com/product/sant...nament/1151388
I colored the holly w/ glitter gel pens & the hat w/ WCW crayon & blender pen. The ball on his hat is a Robbin's Nest pearl.
TLC303 - Sponging. I sponged clouds behind the trees. The center tree is clear embossed. I also sponged around some of the ef snowflakes & subtle sponging on the Flourishes sentiment.
Lisa, congratulations on being FS. I hope you like my version of your card.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

So hard when it's a real member of the family. I love your card with Santa, flakes, and that wonderful SU tree. Hugs.

Beautiful card, Karen! Love the images you chose! I dropped a ton of cash at Bronners, too, when I lived in Michigan! So sorry to hear about your fur baby. Hugs and prayers going out to you.

Love your sponged ef Bugzi and the wonderful effect of the trees. And, who can't love Santa. This is truly a wonderful holiday card! P.S. I'm so sorry about your pooch being sick. I know it's a hard time of year for this to happen. Although, it is always a difficult thing. Hugs - TFS!
