Hi! This card was made for multiple challenges today.... It is Clean and Simple for today's Sketch Challenge. It was sponged for today's Technique Lovers Challenge. It took only 12 minutes, so if fits the Fast Holiday Card for the Free 4 All Challenge and it fits last week's Clean and Simple challenge to use a bow.
I have been cleaning house...Yes! I know, I must be sick, right? Nope...I just get overwhelmed by clutter and had a FREAK out...Nancyruth said she was cleaning her stamp room last week and it inspired me. Well...that and the fact that Mark leaned on the hutch in the dining room and it crashed to the floor, along with everything on it! I took one look at the destruction and panicked. I couldn't figure out where all that STUFF had been! It was a HUGE pile of broken glass, Longaberger baskets, candles, photos, recipes, notebooks, change, glasses, watches, dishes, clocks...(oh, brother!), ornaments, cards, STAMP SETS???, key chains, dog brushes, batteries, pencils, Post its and MUCH more....One baffler was the empty oil can....Not quite sure if it was stashed in one of the baskets or it was just up on the top of the hutch waiting for the Trash Fairy to find it and dispose of it! So, I went on a cleaning rampage....I even went through Markie's dresser and now have 2 big bags of size 12 and 14 headed to the Goodwill store! And, we got that done in less than an hour! Needless to say, the cleaning stopped while we watched the Jags WIN!!!! YAHOO!!!! Finally, a winning season!
There are 3 layers. The middle layer was embossed with a TH Sizzix Texture Fades Folder. The circle-it's supposed to look like an ornament- was stamped with the image and sentiment and colored in with Copics. I sponged on Palette Ink's Raw Sienna for the background.
What do you think?

I need some motivation on the housecleaning front. Maybe your story will inspire me. LOL Love your card.

Gorgeous! Real eye-catcher! I have to try this, because it's hard to believe it only took you 12 minutes. It looks like it took a LOT longer. GREAT job!

Just so beautiful!! I'm out of breath just reading about your cleaning spree - Wow!!! So sorry for all the destruction, though. It must have been heart-breaking to see your treasures in a heap.
