I decided to cut myself some slack this year. My holiday cards are no layers, no embossing, no embellishments. I let the simplicity of the images and the colors of ink speak against a pure white surface. The paper actually has little silver metallic flecks in it, but the camera didn't pick that up.
This clean design enabled me to generate 40 cards in an hour's time, including interruptions by my children . . .

Julie, you always manage to achieve that clean, elegant look that I can only aspire to get!
Wowza!
I probably owe you a "design fee" for all the times I CASE your cards! Thanks for sharing!

Great card!!! I love the simpilicity of it!!! That is my thoughts for next year-simple!! I spend all of yesterday still trying to get things together-too many layers, embossing, etc.

I was scanning through the thumbnails. I saw this one and thought how simply elegant it was - very simple but very pretty. Then I saw who submitted it and thought "Oh, that's why I liked it so much, it's a Julie card!"
