I made this card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge. I know - you can't believe I made it to the tea party on time for once! I can hardly believe it myself! This week we are off to Winnepeg, Canada. We are going to help out Delores McNorris, the head of the local chorus. It seems that her husband, Horace, has pushed her to the limit. Each year he lovingly buys her all 42,000 of the gifts of the Twelve Days of Christmas and fills the house with them. Can you imagine the racket? Delores especially can't take the 12 drummers drumming and who could blame her? Her brother, Harry, has graciously agreed to move all Horace's stuff out so Delores can redecorate like normal people! We are to bring her all the things she likes - teapots, chocolates, wine and jazz music to share with her friends. We are also bringing more traditional holiday decor to deck her halls. If we help out, we can prevent Delores and Horace from getting a divorce! Check out the rest of the story here and come and join us: MMTPT123 ~ THAT'S HORACE, THE TALK OF THE CHORUS! HE'S HEADED FOR DIVORCE! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
In real life, this card is for Felicia, the sister-in-law of fellow teapotter, VickyDee. Felicia's husband passed away from pancreatic cancer this past June, leaving her alone to raise their three daughters. This is the first Christmas they will spend without him so we are hoping to bring Felicia some support and holiday cheer during this difficult time. You can read about Felicia here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I hope there are some of those yummy-looking teapot cookies left!
TFL!

Oh goodie another teapot for the party!! I was just making the comment that I was in the longest and slowest line for tea last week. I was number 41,999!! Maybe with this sweet teapot I won't have to wait so long!! Love your papers and colors!! Great job!! Please check out the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge by clicking on the link below my signature. We would be so very honored to have one of your lovely creations in our weekly challenge!

This is lovely. The oriental looking teapot will remind Felicia of the 6 weeks of cross cultural training she took in China a couple of years ago. She will be thrilled. Thank you!
