This is for F4a41 and The Nutcracker is the theme for the challenge. I have no nutcracker images but I sure have seen some gorgeous ones in the challenge gallery this evening. I followed Roxie's link and found the words to the Nutcracker Overture and loved the first verse referring to "dolls, drums and soldiers and what a happy time, the trimming of the Christmas tree"
I copied and pasted the first verse of the overture into word and printed it on parchment paper. I stamped the image and painted with a brush and reinkers. I stamped the evergreen starting at the top corner and added little bows and stringing the ribbon ready to be added as a garland on the tree. It reminds me of old fashioned Christmas times when there weren't iPads or iPods, or Play Station 3's, or laptops or desktops, not even Nestabilities. Time was simple and slower.

What a very special card this is!! I just love those vintage type of cards and verses that depict the Christmases of years of simple pleasures and family love being the most special part!

The beauty of your cards...I could guess the creator before I saw the name. Your colors and coloring are always over the top. Your bows and ribbons are always to die for. tfs
