The challenge... to make a card that tells about our beginnings of stamping. I began stamping 20 years ago, then gave it up and gave everything away 7 years ago. I took it back up last year with a renewed, incredible passion. How I digress...when I began 20 years ago, what excited me about stamping were the beautiful stamps made by PSX ...I had TONS of them. I LOVED to color, too(now, not so much!)! This card was made with one that I recently purchased on ebay...I used to have at least 2 LIKE it...after 20 years, I still think some of them are pretty...I love hearts and flowers! I also LOVED embossing...so this card has it all...an old PSX stamp, coloring, and embossing.
Folded a full sheet of copy paper into 1/4's and tore a 1 1/4"square out of the middle. Sponged pink after putting the paper around the heart. I then took the original torn square, put it over the heart and sponged antique linen on the entire card. I used my punch that punches 2 holes and made the bow by taking the ribbon through the 2 hole from the top, up through the bottom and back through the top, leaving a loop for the bow. I didn't plan it, but the white frame separating the pink and linen was totally accidental...I thought that was cool!!
Thanks for looking, have a great night!!

Very PRETTY! I've been stamping for over 15 years and I can't imagine starting over again! IT would cost a fortune! Glad you back! Your work is lovely!

I still have this pretty PSX stamp. I keep meaning to bring out my old stamps and make them new again. Nice job on your card.
