I love these long holiday weekends because I can finally get caught up on my Sketch Challenges. Here's my card for SC299 found here - Sketch Challenge 299 by imastampin at Splitcoaststampers. This one didn't turn out quite as well as I'd hoped, but it'll do. I loved the sketch, just not what I did with it.
I started with a Cherry Cobbler base, layered Deck the Halls dsp on Early Espresso cs and adhered them to the card. I stamped the dove with Cherry Cobbler ink three times (not reinking between stamping) to get the flying visual. The darkest bird is overstamped with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. I stamped the globe with Chocolate Chip ink, added Crystal Effects and cut it out when the CD dried. For some highlights, I added an Always Artichoke Seam Bidding tab and basic rhinestones.
