Hi! I made this card for today's TLC: faux tile! I need a couple of masculine encouragement and get well cards as well as a masculine sympathy card today. This is the encouragement card!
After making my "tiles", I stamped the clock background from Hero Arts, and added a butterfly, bird and rings from Tim Holtz. I stamped the man and the words, mounted the man and cut out the words, added them both to the background panel. Mounted the background panel and attached it to the card base. Simple and fun!!
The man this is going to is in my church; he has just had his leg amputated and he has a massive infection. Over the past few years, he has lost both of his parents, his wife, and has battled alcoholism and diabetes. And now part of his leg is gone. Talk about going through a rough patch and some major grief. Puts any problems I have into perspective....
TFL and have a creative and blessed day.
