I'm still kind of doing my own thing around here. I came up with this masculine card for my brother who has a house in the mountains. I thought he might enjoy the wildlife images.
I finally got to use my MS grass punch border - so fun. I love the diamond plate ef and weathered b/g stamp for masculine cards. I used a mixture of marina mist, early espresso and wild wasabi for my color combo. I don't think I've ever used wild wasabi b/f and was determined to tackle it.
The animals were colored, b/g sponged using circle punches and nesties and the sentiment was punched out with the wide oval punch and sponged. I used a thick piece of string that came off a pair of pants and crystal effects on the underpart of the bird.
That's it. I thank you for visiting and hope you have a wonderful week.

Well, I would say your brother will really like this, being a mountain man. Seriously, it is a perfect, masculine card with all those animals and wild wasabi. Glad you got to use your grass punch and now you're tearing pants apart for craft supplies. O.K., maybe the Punchkateers can gather up a grab bag of goodies to send you....or maybe Heather will send you some of her new goodies from AZ..great idea. LOL

How come it'z now up to me to being sending thingz to you!! I still haven't got my package of punchez from Da Prez Benzi from waaaaayyyy back when she bargained her way to claiming the title of "Prez". When I get my package of punchez from Da Benz, I'll send some on to you, how'z that my OPP? And, might I ask, just what is holding your pantz up now that you are using pantz partz on your cardz? And your buttonz aren't holding them up either as I can see them scattered all over your famous bath mat. Kinda sceery (as Kookzi might say)! Anyhoo, your card is great - your brother better like it. It's a great colour combo, fun images, lotz of punching (that alone should impress him) and fun texture. Great work. How many dayz 'til your sailor turned cowboy getz home? Big hugz! RYPH!!!

Pamzi this is a great masculine card. Love the wildlife images on this card. The color combination looks fantastic. Your brother will love this. Your grass punch looks awesome....guess what? I don't have that one in my collection. I might get ousted out of the exclusive Martha Stewart club now that I have admitted that one!!! You must have a minimum of 1000 punches to be inducted....lol Such a cute card Pamzi....nice to see you out doing your own thing!!!!

Pam, love all the texture on this card, both from the ef and the background stamp and grass punch. And most of all, I love that you are doing your own thing!! You don't know how many times lately I've wanted to create a card simply because it's a thought in my mind, but I think, "Oh, I should tie it to a challenge somehow, to get exposure." I'm posting a card tomorrow that I made "just because." I hope you get a chance to see it.
Enjoy yourself!!

I need that border too - it looks awesome on this wildlife card. Great card in every way! At first I thought that was coins around the card but it was cool buttons which is just as good if not better!
