As you can see in the challenge definition of CAS, "CAS" is definitely in the eye of the beholder. In my opinion it is about how quickly I can put a quality card together. I find it takes a LOT of practice though....what looks easy really isn't so easy (smiles). I find that getting just the right level of "simple elegance" can be quite a challenge, but it's a hoot to keep trying!
Here the felt Christmas Flower grabs center stage with one of my favorite stamp sets this year: Day of Gratitude. It works well for Christmas too! The embossing powder was called "fireworks" and it is primarily black with tiny hints of red that fit right in here.

Wow, this is the most beautiful card I've seen with this image. How genius to combine this sparkly black ep with a bold red felt image. It's a sophisticated Christmas card, oh yea. You spoke the truth when you said how difficult it is to create a great CAS card, but you have surely succeeded today.
