For the TSC challenge this week we were to make a card with ribbon, gingham and food. Well, here is my Thanksgiving turkey getting a little flame broiled in my oven after the baking bag burst causing an oven fire. I made the mistake of telling Pat Smethers what I did to this old bird and she sent me the link to this card that I have cased from MsBoz: CASEd Turkey by MrsBoz at Splitcoaststampers
You know how it is when friends just get a kick out of these situations. Ok, Pat, here is my card, cased from your card of choice.

Mmmmm flame grilled Turkey my favorite much better than a raw one did Pat send you this? too funny :- I watched some of the other ones too like the man in the bath eeewwwww bet that had a nice flavor to it,
This card is just so cool Shirley thanks for sharing your mishap with us, and I thought you were all like Martha Stewart amazing at cooking or anything you turn your hand to, now I don't feel too bad telling you the time I forgot to turn the oven on with my Turkey just sitting there cold and the very first time I cooked one I left the giblets inside hehehehe. Great card Shirt.

Now that's the way to represent!!! Bwahahahaha! Sister, your Thanksgiving sounded like great fun to me (especially the squeaky voice part...) and I love that you have cased CarrollAnn! Your "Cajun" turkey looks just fine, and that cheery background is delish as well. Love that bit of embroidery floss to tie off his lil leg. Hmmmm...is that how the fire started? Love your TSC sistah! Hugs...

Lovely Driver!! You did punch art!! Yay!! That turkey looks so cute against the gingham BG. I like how you did the flames! LOL! I can't believe your bag burst! You must have forgotten to poke those little holes in it! It makes for a great story though! Pat called it "Cajun" style as in "Blackened"! LOL! Well, you nailed the challenge, and thanks for sharing your turkey mishap story!!!

Love this Cajun turkey version. Great flames! We had our own turkey mishap here. Our daughter held the bag open while I slid the 19-pound turkey in... and right out the back end of the bag seam. It never occurred to two college graduates that the little ol' bag couldn't withstand the weight. Rinsed off the turkey and didn't ask as much of the second bag. No flames though; your house sounds more exciting.

Absolutely adore this card, with its country charm!! Your BG DPs couldn't be better, to give it that kitchen-y look with the gingham, and your punched turkey is awesome!!! with the flames even !!! especially like the tie on the turkey leg!! You done good, Shirt!! Hmm, any leftovers???
