This is the first and probably only card I'll make with a Santa. Santa and I don't see eye to eye. There's only 1 Christmas that Santa brought anything on my wish list. Maybe he doesn't like Fruitcake!! How did he know that's what I would be called down the road? Anyway, enjoy, as, of course, this card turned into a nightmare to get right and it's Santa's way of getting back at me, The Fruitcake!
Used a retired SU set called Holiday Hello (2000) and Button Bear (1995) as well as SU Merriment. Also used the SU DSP Jolly Holiday.
Used flower soft on Santa's beard, cap and jacket bottom trim. Sparkled up the framing around him with 2-way glue and dazzling diamonds. Used crystal efects for his belt and the bows on the presents. I used my beloved reindeer which I'm running out of. Wish I remember where I got it.
Popped up the front present, santa framing and cherry cobbler framing behind the Santa frame. Embossed the sentiment.
Well, if Santa brings back my DH from deployment with a cowboy hat, then I'll know he granted me wish FINALLY!!!
Thanks for taking a look and have a great weekend!
This qualifies for the StampinB Challenge to make a holiday card!! That's for you Benzi!

To quote misshelenstamps, I too will ask "you no likey Santa?" My dear Flakey Friend, have you tried leaving him milk and cookies instead of fruitcake? No, really, have you?!? And does your sailor friend know he's supposed to pick up a cowboy hat on his way home from the big boat when he gets into port? And do you know when to expect said sailor friend home yet?
OK, enough questions Fruitflakezi. I'll get to the point. Which is your card. Your card is great - looks like a true Pamzelina holiday card. Only one nestie though? Slippin' a bit on the punch tally, eh? But that sweet lil reindeer makes up for it. Cute, cute. Now, you take care of yourself. Good to see you found a little creatin' time girl. Go punch something!! Hugz to you from your OPP! RYPH!

No, Santa does not like fruit cake, you fruitcake. Everyone knows Santa doesnt like anything but cookies. I think your card is darling despite what you say. It's as festive and fun as ever. Yes, I sure do hope your DH gets home quickly with or without the hat!

Pam you have to try what I did when I was a little girl...leave Santa a shot of whiskey-if you get him looped up he'll leave you whatever you want!!! lol This card is just adorable and I love the flower-soft for the fur and beard. The little reindeer is just so sweet. Here's hoping that Santa will soon deliver your Cowboy soon home from the Sea!!!

Wow - Bearzi probably has it right - Whiskey probably would have done it! I should have tried that as well! I hope Santa does grant your wish and redeem himself! This is a cute card! Love the details as usual. I love you Fruitcake!

HO HO HO...I was just over on the Stampin B's blog commenting on cards and opened this one and thought, ' that looks just like a Pam124 card'. I starting reading and sure enough it was. I guess I know your work, huh? I know you don't like Santa but you've made a great card with this guy. Love the little deer and gift packages. Just as adorable as can be. You better quit saying bad things about Santa or he sure will pass on by the Fruitcake's house. Thanks for dedicating this one to me because I LOVE Santa. See, I'm trying to be good.

It's no wonder Santa doesn't like you if you leave him fruitcake. Who like fruitcake anyway??? No one I know. But you made a delightful card w/ this cute Santa image. I love the flowersoft and the punching. I have not mastered that yet!! Can you believe that???? Emzi did send me some helpful hints though. Anyway, lov these colors and the dsp. Good job my friend. You'd better think of some way to get on Santa's good side.
