I combined today's CAS challenge - sponging and the Technique Challenge - to use at least two different previous technique challenges. Plus this months theme challenge - Well Read. I used to read the "Five little Monkeys Jumping on the bed" by Eileen Christelow" to my children and now read it to my grandchildren. I love sock monkeys and have made sock monkey quilts for the grandbaby's. My children all had sock monkey dolls. So this little sock monkey reminds me of the story.
I coloured this adorable digi sock monkey image with my prismacolour pencil and gamsol I made the background by rubbing SU craft white ink onto my CB folder and then placing the piece of creamy caramel into the Embossing folder and running through the cuttlebug. Next I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the CC panel and heat embossed to give it the shine. I sponged the edges and the raised circle with Basic Brown ink. I also sponged the edges of the red and creamy caramel portion of the circle behind the sock monkey. Added stickles to her bow and checks.
This also works for last weeks Ways to Use it challenge - to use browns on your card/project
This also qualifies for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge to have circles on your card or project.
Thanks for looking
Hugs. Pat

Adorable! I've got to go check out that image. It reminds me of my oldest dd because she likes to sit like that doing her splits. Love the technique with the embossing folder too!
