I know you have heard not to eat the yellow snow, well today I made a brown quilled snowflake. Don't you think the same rule should apply? I have been making some quilled snowflakes this week and wondered how a brown one would look. Then I saw today's challenge, so I decided to go ahead and make a brown one. I really like how it turned out. I used yesterday's sketch for the background. The snowflake ornament can be removed so that the recipient can hang it on their tree. I quilled the snowflake out of brown cardstock strips that were 4 1/4 inches by 1/8 inch. I added beads, wire and a ribbon. I stitched the lace and the panels to the card.
