I created this tag for this monthÂ’s Flourishes Christmas challenge. I tried to get creative and turn a non-Christmas stamp into something Christmassy. This image is from the Spring Ephemerals set and is supposed to be forget-me-nots. I covered the flowers with versamark using a versamarker and heat embossed with white embossing powder to make it into mistletoe with white berries. The sentiment is from Tag Lines. After I was finished stamping I distressed the edge, crumpled the cardstock, and sponged on some Close to Cocoa ink. The trim along the bottom is punched out with SU Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, and then cut in half longways. The red trim is old and long retired SU colored hemp. I am really happy with how this turned out, TFL!

If you have time please consider sending a card to fellow SCSer and my mom, m&m'sgrandma (updated information is at this link). She is undergoing treatment for breast cancer and will be having surgery in a couple of weeks. Thanks!
