This is a card that I have made for the Dutch magazine Hobbyjournaal. This card was made for someone's 50th birthday. This fabulous ostrich is perfect for it! Chrissy Armstrong has made this awesome stamp for Squigglefly. The pocket is made from pink papicolor paper and I mounted black and white dotted paper on top of it. I made the 2 holes with the circle nestabilities and I added pink frames around them. The word Sarah and the 50 are made with the rollerskate alphabet from quikutz. I used a white gelpen to draw little dots on the letters. The flowers are made with a retro punch and I added black cabochons.
I added black and white striped paper on the top and bottom of the card. I used a black fineliner to make a stitching line. I coloured the ostrich with my pencils. I gave the ostrich a pearl necklace with pink hotfix stones.
