When I saw the tweed blankets I thought of the designer paper I purchased to use on some of this years cards and I used the yellow in the flower center. I also used the poinsettia pillow for my card idea.
-I used Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps to color the image using the Gamsol technique. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol/mineral spirits.
-The snowflakes are the negative portion of the EK Success border punch Snowflakes.
-The out of the box feature is very easy by cutting to the image with the regular paper cutter on the front, marking the image on the back while holding to a light source then use the paper cutter again to cut to that mark. Scissor cut the image out. My paper cutter is a guillotine style. I used a Coluzzle and craft knife to cut between the images. I do have a pictorial on my blog if you need photos, click here. ItÂ’s a direct link to the tutorial.

Oh Roxie I simply adore your out of the box cutting technique.
The tutorials you've done on it are really easy to follow....however.............I can't seem to get that nice little neat corner when I cut. Practice....yes I know. I think using a stamp that has nice bold lines helps...........
Anyhooooooooo............your creations are always always amazing !!!!!
TFS your talent with all of us.
