I'm sorry to be late, but I made this card in honor of last week's Queen For The Day, Michelle (shellapoo). What a wonderful choice of Queen, Anne! Michelle devotes her time to sending cards to chemo kids and their families despite the fact that she and her Mom are both coping with the debilitating effects of MS. It has been very hard for Michelle to stamp at all recently so we are sending her some cards to add to her stash.
I found this sweet card in Michelle's gallery: For My Aunt by shellapoo at Splitcoaststampers
I thought that maybe Michelle also needs some holiday cards for the families this time of year. If not, the sentiment panel can be easily replaced with something appropriate.
I kept Michelle's layout and the image a Tilda. I changed the colors, DP, arrangement of flowers and added a sentiment.
This is also for the Challenge #22 on Joan's Gardens' blog which this week had the following requirements:
-a character stamp (preferably Magnolia or Sarah Kay)
-something that sparkles
-Spellbinders Nesties
-a greeting
I think I got them all!
Congratulations, Michelle! I hope you are pleased with all the cards made in your honor!
TFL!

Many thanks to everyone that participated in Michelle/Shellapoo's QFTD challenge to ramp up her kid card stash. Below is an excerpt from an email she sent me.
"I haven't been online much to check out all of "my" cards...my tremor has been bad the last few days which makes it very hard to type or use the mouse, etc...BUT I have already started receiving the most precious cards in the mail for my kids! I am positively overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and generosity of the wonderful stampers on SCS!
I have to tell you, this giant (Burger King) crown suits me quite well! I am enjoying having many subjects, court jesters, and everything else that comes with being Queen of a royal court! So far no one has lost her head! (Except me, of course! LOL!!!)
I really, really want to thank everyone even if I can't comment on every card. I am trying so hard because I do not want to be rude and take a gift - and an honor like being QUEEN! - without saying thank you...my Mom and Grandma taught me better than that!
Much love, and more thanks than I know how to express!
