This card is for two challenges.
Mojo Monday 163 and Teapot Tuesday 118.
I struggled to come up with something for Mojo163 and finally checked out Inspiration Challenge Friday night. Nothing there worked for me, so I went over to Cindy's Teapot challenge and the first one I opened was perfect. I took one look at the B&W damask teapot and knew exactly what I wanted to make.
It's very hard to tell in the picture, but I used a Penny Black background word stamp on the base (Milled Lavender) to put some actual color into the stamped image. I trimmed out both the large and famed image with the Bazzill lavender (Heidi) and added the tulle netting behind the white ribbon.
I'm still struggling with picture taking, but have somewhat improved. The lavender accents are barely noticeable on first glance.
So a big huge Thank You to Cindy for the inspiration.

What a romantic and elegant card! Although the lavender accent color is subtle, it is a perfect addition to soften what can be the starkness of black and white. Beautifully done!

Simply STUNNING card! I LOVE it and LOVE black and white! The lavender is a perfect accent color. Wish I could find some of those Karen Foster stick pins!
