So glad that I got the chance to case one of Michelle's cards (shellapoo) as she is being honored as QFTD number 34! Michelle needs children's cards for her caring work so I cased her space themed card found here:
I love the Pun Fun set and don't use it enough. I punched out a circle and sponged it in yellow ink. I punched various sized circles from paper and used that to sponge with Ranger Distress Scattered Straw to make a yellow moon effect. I sprayed the moon with Irridescent Glitter Spray. I also sprayed a bit of gold paper and cut out small stars with Spellbinders Nestabilities Stars. After coloring the rocket with copics, I popped it up, making a "flight path" with a white gel pen. I also added a few smaller stars with the gel pen. Then punched the sentiment with an oval punch and added red dots - popped that up on a small Nestabilities Labels Four in red. There is still room to add a childs name as was requested!

Brigit, this is such a fun card; sure to bring a huge smile to someone's face. Thanks so much for crafting a card for Michelle's sick children ministry. Your card is darling.

What a super fun card - by the looks of that "flight path" he is all over the place on a real adventure!! Michelle will be delighted with this great case of her card, and also grateful for your help! TFS

Many thanks for participating in Michelle/Shellapoo's QFTD challenge to ramp up her kid card stash. Below is an excerpt from an email she sent me.
"I haven't been online much to check out all of "my" cards...my tremor has been bad the last few days which makes it very hard to type or use the mouse, etc...BUT I have already started receiving the most precious cards in the mail for my kids! I am positively overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and generosity of the wonderful stampers on SCS!
I have to tell you, this giant (Burger King) crown suits me quite well! I am enjoying having many subjects, court jesters, and everything else that comes with being Queen of a royal court! So far no one has lost her head! (Except me, of course! LOL!!!)
I really, really want to thank everyone even if I can't comment on every card. I am trying so hard because I do not want to be rude and take a gift - and an honor like being QUEEN! - without saying thank you...my Mom and Grandma taught me better than that!
Much love, and more thanks than I know how to express!
