This is for today's Inspiration Challenge. Looking through the selected website, I used one of the patterns from the Street collection. The sunflowers from the Italy pattern were collected in the corner, so that's where I put my sunflower, adding some Flower Soft to the center after coloring the flower with Copic markers. I masked the edges of the white panel with Post-It notes, and then sponged a little texture to the background. I cut out the bee and popped him up.

Terrific take on Ms. Sakai's work, Lois! I like your sponged background and the bee and the ribbon and the flower and the soft center of the flower, and well - I just like everything about it! Glad you could play along today.

Lovely - I'd stamped a sunflower to use with my snail, but it just didn't come together. I like your masking inside the white edge.
p.s. - this is how I link to the image any time direct links don't work. There are a very few sites it won't work on, though - some of the ones that use Flash players to show the pictures.
Choose your image, then right click, and click on View Image. A new window should open with just the picture, and then you can make a hyperlink from that .

What a nice bit of sunshine on a cold Indiana fall day. Love your sponged frame that you set off so nicely with the corner stamp and the green gingham ribbon works well here!
