Even though our cards are different I was inspired to do this scene after seeing Jeanne S and JuscoloradoÂ’s cards.
I stamped the trees then stamped again before reloaded with ink for depth. Stamped the moon in white, before lifting the stamp I used my stamp positioner so I can stamp over the moon with Ranger Clear Resist (Versa Mark does about the same effect). I then sponged over the sky area with Bliss Blue then used my cloud template and sponged on Night of Navy. Normally you wouldnÂ’t get color over the moon but I had wiped some of the resist off before it dried so it would take some color but still leave the moon effect. I also sponged on white and Going Gray for the snow area. Mulberry paper for second layer is added with tacky glue.
The snowflake is stamped in navy and using the stamp positioner like explained for the moon I stamped again in Versa Mark and dry embossed with clear powder and quickly threw glitter on before it dried. If you donÂ’t cover the entire image just heat and glitter again. ThatÂ’s my own technique because as a new stamper I thought I was buying glitter embossing powder. Wrong, but it has to be used up, no waste in my stamp room!

wow,Roxi,,, it is so gorgeous.. i love it, love the trees and the sky, what a beautiful card, your trees almost look like a photograph or painting,, the circle with the bow finishes it off,, it is the final touch. Excellent job on the challenge,, TFS..
