I love green, Julia. Thanks for the challenge. I managed to use 5 shades of the hue on my card. Perfect timing for a relativity simple card. I felt I needed to make a statement today with a card for my sweet, tenderhearted son. Check it out!
I used RiverCity Rubber Works typewriter as my focal, inked with Memento Tuxedo Black and lightly embossed. I cut a bit of white cs to insert into the machine. The Making Memories Magnetic Letters were used to spell out my 'typing'. I covered a black glittery heart with Carnelian Martha glitter. The background DP is an old, old Scenic Route script paper. The wonderful plaid 'shirt' plaid is from Seaside (October Afternoon) as is the red board floor panel which I dry embossed with the 'bug and a nestie. I fauxed (rather poorly) a blanket stitch from my Starving Artistamps stitches stamp in Nick Bantock Sap Moss Green. Still better than dragging out the machine (Ha, Ha!!!) The ribbon is pleated along a strip of double sided tape.
Thanks very kindly for your comments. I love to read how my art touches you.

I wish I still had my typewriter like this! Way cool card Susan. Love how you inserted the white cs into the typewriter. Now that brought back memories. hehe Your blanket stitch is the perfect touch on your blanket. Such an interesting and well thought out card. Love it! TFS :0)
