I keep trying to build a stash of sympathy cards but I find excuses to make happier cards and then, there I am, having to make one when I am sad. I don't know if my sympathy cards are too plain but I can't figure another way to achieve simple and dignified. Thank you to Miss Boo for another great challenge.

Not too plain at all. This is just perfect for a sympathy card. Your CAS design is lovely and elegant and sure to bring comfort.
