This is a thank you card for a friend of mine who bought me a 'FABULOUS FOLDS FOR CARD MAKING" book at a yard sale. It shows how do to lattice fold cards, Gate fold, iris folding, accordian folds, tea bag folds and pop up cards. I LOVE this book and wanted to make a 'thank you' card for her from one of the techiques in the book.
This lattice fold is very easy....even for the cardmaking technique challenged like me!!!! I used double sided dp, 8 in square. I scalloped the bottom fron edge and made is a little shorter than the back edge. I gold embossed the senti and die cut with nesties. I added the gold half pearls and it is ready to go in the mail.
What do you think?

I think we are all running to the book store to learn how to make this fancy fold. I love the way you say it is 'so easy' as you've already figured it out. I'm just staring at it, thinking it is soooo cool and wondering how in the world you did it! Beautiful work.

This is gorgeous Lesley. What a beautiful job you did on that fold. When I tried it a couple of years ago, it was NOT so easy for me. Came out a bit messy...

Now this looks very difficult and really cool. I like that you did it with gold - makes it so rich looking. Now, I would go to garage sales if I found things like this book - that is a super find (you have a wonderful and thoughtful friend). TFS!
