This card is an example of starting out with one idea and ending up with something totally opposite and which causes you to ponder mid way whether to move forward or toss in the circular file. I get sort of stubborn when that happens and usually try to keep going. This poinsettia was stamped twice on watercolor paper in versa and was embossed with gold ep. I painted with water and reinkers and cut out a few leaves of the second image to pop up over the base flower. I wanted to frame with a little bit of gold and ended up using a double thick layer of gold embossing on the framing layer. I don't use tons of gold so this left me wondering how to finish off the card. I must admit this is not my favorite card or layout but it is pretty enough.
