Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Destiny's Creations. I chose THIS pair of earrings as my inspiration. It also fits this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge.
Well...our dog, Scout is still missing. We spent over 6 hours looking for him today. We put up signs, offered a reward, and talked to people up and down our street. No one had seen him. One woman pointed out that the "little mean one," (our teacup poodle who can slip out of our gate), was out barking at the meter reader yesterday. I had to laugh, because Harry is scared of is own shadow! But, Scout is not. I'm afraid that he's not coming home. Poor Markie.
I saw the inspiration earrings and thought, "Poinsettias!" I know those flowers on the earrings are NOT poinsettias, but I just got that in my head and went with it. I used Copics to color in the image and then cut it out. The designer paper is Good Cheer from October Afternoon.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" square
Total time to complete: 40 minutes

Oh Faith I am so sorry to hear about your doggie. I am hoping that he will come home! Love your card. The Poinsettia is so beautiful. This is a great layout too! Oooo I am loving these "Copics".....what was I missing out on all this time!!! Geez, my husband admonished me because I didn't get them sooner cause I was so excited with my results. He told me I should get some more, so I didn't hesitate...lol Don't get me wrong, I have a learning curve, but I have been watching lots of videos to get the hang of it. Fun Fun Fun....I am so excited and eagerly awaiting my second batch of copics from Mark's Finest Papers!!!

I agree with all of the above, I woud never have known they are not poinsettia's so you did good!!! I hope your doggie finds his way home. I hate that, it's so scary when you don't know what happened to them. Take care, Karen
