For me, this is a real challenge. I usually stay far away from pastel colors. Neutrals are fine, but pastels are a horse of a different color.
With the dk brown chalk ink, I stamped the image onto kraft/crumb cake...well, you know. I used bleach and a tiny acrylic paintbrush to bleach out the fence pickets and I used markers to add the pink and blue to the flowers and plants. I used the out of the box Nestie technique to cut it out and I went around the embossed ridge w/ a white chalk marker.
The dp bg was split into 4 pcs and attached to a larger piece of kraft, then to a 5.5 4.25 ivory card. The sentiment was stamped and I used a pink marker and a white gel pen to highlight it.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
