I hope old Al hurrys along, he's late for the race. You see Al loves to collect old license plates, his garage is full of them! Not that his old jalopy has a chance in the race..but you never know!
I used Tim Holtz Lost & Found DP, and the car is from him also. I also cut out a license plate for embellishment. This was a fun card to make! tfl

Whew, I am glad I am not the only one who came along in an old jalopy this week - we both seemed to arrive at the same time too . What a brilliant guy card - and the extra little number plate cut from the paper makes the dinkiest embellishment.

Ha ha! I hear these ole time jalopies are quite worriesome for the Nascar drivers....Yah...something to do with stray license plates and aire-o-dynamics (you dont really expect me to know how to spell that do you? It's a Nascar thing). This card is so awesome! I love the background paper and the old, distressed look of it! You did good, jalopy or not! Giggle! I think Sabrina is your biggest competition in this race girlfriend and she's hauling sandwiches so probably has more weight than you! Giggle!

Oh my gosh - what a fun card - it's perfect! I love that DP - I'll have to hunt some up. I have a friend that actually does collect license plates and he has a birthday approaching - so the DP would be perfect. Thanks for sharing.

The vintage car and your sentiment are perfect together.Like how you aged the paper in places. Just have one question, "Where is the water bag hanging from the radiator?"

Omigosh, how fun is this card?!?!? I love the license plate dp and that ol' jalopy. I hope those new, super fast race cars don't run it over. Great use of all the Tim Holz items.
