That's is about as much as I know about Nascar. My late husband and I use to watch the race every Sunday but I have to admit that I usually took a nap. It was the only time during the week that he actually sat down and took a break from work so I made the "most" of mine and his down time. Okay, so maybe a nap wasn't the best way to use the time but it just seemed relaxing to watch those cars go around and around. Kind of like being hypnotised!

Awesome card! Love the touch of yellow and red accenting your race car. Perfect ribbon too. I know what you mean... the sounds of the cars racing around the track has a hypnotizing effect in our house too. ;-)

Glad to see Dale's black #3 card . . . saw him in person at time trials at Laudon NH and my friend thought I was crazy because of how I reacted LOL
Fun card and the ribbon you used to accent the card is perfect!

Bwhaha! I agree, right up there with watching tennis! Back and forth, back and forth! Snort! I do watch Nascar though...but don't get too into it until the end of the race, the last two laps is my time! Giggle!
You know lots about racing but in our case its......
Gentlemen......Where are your engines? Giggle!
Under the bricks maybe?

Jeez, you must have had the sound down to be able to nap - I can't imagine that it's any quieter than the Grand Prix, which always sounds like a swarm of wasps to me. If that isn't the most perfect ribbon. Hmm, now I see yours I think I might have had a scrap tucked away somewhere.

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!!! Although I don't watch racing, I can still hear the sounds of the race cars from when I was a little girl and my dad would have the race on. I agree: it was a hypnotizing sound to sleep by! Giggle!
Yo Sam, your card is so cool! I love all the checkered flags and Dale's card so proudly on display. You "done" good, girl. Now, go start your engine! hee-hee!

Like you I tend to do other things while my husband watches the races. This challenge has taught me to pay more attention. I erroneously identified my car as a Cadi and I was corrected twice that I stamped a '57 Chevy. Duh!
