I have gotten behind in my challenge cards due to some commitments but enjoying getting back to it. This is for the HYCCT challenge to create a vintage card. I am doubling up by using last week's sketch challenge. It seemed to work together perfectly. I even have a 'Karen Barber' bow today!
I colored my little Christmas girl w copics and distressed the panel with SU tea stain ink. The base card is Artichoke, embossed and sponged w white craft ink for a vintage look. It turned out better than I thought with this folder. The Razzleberry panel is some retired hostess DP. I decided to pull in some gold using gold cs for background panels.
I thought this would make a sweet Christmas card for the ladies at MD Anderson. Hope you like it and thanks for viewing and commenting.

What a grand slam this is, Kathy. It's so elegant w/that fabulously embossed bg. I love your ribbon and image together. Wow, it's not often a card can really grab my attention, but there was not way of going past this work of art. Hope your trip to Wil, DE this summer was a great one. Did it make you want to move back home?
