I combined this week's Free4All challenge (to have a flap on your card) with another Hope You Can Cling To challenge (sewing on your card). To create the flap, I cut a large scalloped circle and glued it to the card base. I'm not a big "card sewer" (that's "sew"er not "sewer"), so I used faux stitching around the circle, but I did actually sew the buttons to the corners. A twist to the Hope challenge was that it had to do with gratefulness. So I stole the name of the challenge for the name of my card and printed it on the cardstock from my computer.
ETA: Well, apparently the thread for HYCCT23 (Sew Thankful) was posted too early, because it has now disappeared. So I guess I won't have to do a card tomorrow -- it's already done!

Beautiful card and I love your use of a circle Nestie to create the flap! Well done, Lois!
