When I saw this challenge the first thing I thought of was this old pair of my son's jeans that I've been wanting to alter. I knew right away what to do...GO RETRO!
Those of you old enough to remember the 70's might know that EVERYONE doodled on their jeans...we had peace signs, love, flowers...you name it! So I cut a scalloped square and started decorating!
All images were stamped in white craft ink and those on the denim square were colored with Sharpies. "Hippy Birthday" was stamped in Paris Dusk.
As I was grabbing my chipboard flower (which was colored with Adirondack Pink Sherbet Dabber), I spotted some colored metal rimmed tags, so I drew a smilie and threw that on. Luckily, my funky tie dye ribbon was half hanging out of a ribbon basket so I spotted it immediately! :P
I had a lot of fun making this card, hope you enjoy viewing it! Thanks for taking a peek!

Oh what memories you have brought up here with the Fab-O card. I love what you did to your DS's jeans. This is so creative and just darn cute. TFS :0)

Fantastic use of fabric on this card! I love how you die cut that denim. Wish I had die cutting tools--they would be *great* for fabric. Love the rainbow trim and all of your hippie-chic embellies. Super fun card--you rocked this challenge
