I think it is really cute the way it is, but since you asked...how about a very skinny black mat behind the pink layer? It would make the colors pop and maybe you would be happier with it.

My suggestion would be to
1. Do what Beth said above and
2. Maybe stamp some of the Stipple Celebrations in versamark covering the card base as a subtle BG.

I was thinking similar to what Beth said, but to mat the whole card with Pink as a frame, and then to add just a touch of black somewhere else, I would maybe stamp a small shape (a heart, star, flower - similar to the ones on there already) at the end of the Thank You tail. Just adding the extra touch of black somewhere gives that design element of "repetition" that is so important to good balance. It's a great card, though, with a wonderful contemporary design layout. I really like the gingham ribbon overlayed on the twill and set with brads. Nice touch!
