Thanks for the push to use fabric today Cindy. I've been wanting to do this for a long time.
I cut circles from a crinkly polyester fabric and used a candle to melt them into these shapes. I tried the heat gun, but it just didn't do it. There are several different sizes used and three colors. The layers are stitched together and a button added to the center.
I made it detachable so it can be used in the hair or as an accessory on clothes. The flourish was stamped using black craft ink and clear embossed. The sentiment is stamped using chocolate chip craft ink and clear embossed.

WOW, I love your flower. I had used the chiffon to make flowers but had not thought of other polyester....OMG this opens up so many possibilities now......TFS. I love it.
