Well, I finally finished my (tweaked) version of today's sketch. I had to change the oval to a rectangle to fit my sentiment, but otherwise, it's pretty much as the original sketch.
For my background, I stamped the square design on the diagonal then stamped the little candy corn bee, masking out the wings. I stamped him again for my vertical and horizontal bands. I colored these with markers and a water brush then used the smallest of the scallop borders dies down both sides.
I cut out an extra bee and attached him to the smallest lacy circle and added stickles. For the little candy corn embellie. I cut the shank off, glued it on and applied some stickles. The final card measures 4.25 x 5.5.
