Greetings and welcome to my entry for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #76. Today I have for you something new that I tried. I love all the inked scenery cards I see here on SCS. When I got this stamp from DRS Designs I decided to try it out for myself. I definitely need more practice, but I still liked how this looked. I must have used 3 sheets of paper though to get something I was happy with!!! lol
I stickled the individual branches on the tree and the snow on the ground. The die cut at the top is a Spellbinders Borderability with a Spellbinders snowflake as well that I distressed ink a a light purple to make the scenery. The swirl bling was from Michael's. My background paper was a Christmas present from Priscilla last year.
Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate it! Hope you can play along with us this week!

A lovely scene you've created here. I have been working on this look myself and now have a big pile of sponges in various colors all over my stamping table. I love the colors you incorporated- the gorgeous pinks. Beautifully done.

Carol these colors are simply gorgeous! I love your scene - it looks perfect with this sketch and all your kajillion embellishments. No one does embellishments like you - you are the embellishment queen! I like all your dots - must have taken some time to do all those!

I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who needs multiple attempts to get decent inked sky/background!!! Your efforts were worth it, Carol, because in the end, this turned out to be one STUNNING card

Carol, this is an absolute beauty. What a scene!!! I can see the stickles on your trees and the snow...just a winter wonderland. I really like how you used the borderabilities, snowflake, and buttons. Of course, the dp is awesome. A big thumbs up!!!!
