Lori Craig challenged us to 'bring in the brown' on HYCCT02C. I have gotten so hooked on pink for Christmas that I decided brown would work as well. I was also trying to do TLC295 which is to add shimmer. I have no idea if I really did this challenge since I didn't use perfect pearls - I had to use Pearl Ex and glue (technique explained by Faith) but I did ink up my acrylic block and used watercolors. I am hereby confused as to whether I completed the task or if I messed up. You can hardly see the shimmer in the picture but it is pretty cool IRL. It was fun but I might be cheating a bit here.
I can't get the shimmer to show in the pictures!

I really enjoy the new color combos that have been showing up recently. I've never been fond of primary green so all these new colors are marvelous. Thank you!

If you used all the supplies we were supposed to it's legit and if it isn't, then you invented something new and original. Whatever it's absolutely gorgeous.

Whether it's 'legal' for the challenge or not, who cares! It's gorgeous! You certainly didn't "mess up" on this beauty! Great card.... Love the embossing.
