I am so honored to be a CAS guest designer again this season! This week's challenge is based on a fabulous sketch by kstamper.
I started by masking the left side of the card with a 3/4 inch border. I also masked off part of the top, just so I could eyeball the top leaves to break the border. I used PTI's Out on a Limb stamp set inked with SU Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust classic ink for the leaves, and Really Rust for the branches. The set also comes with individual leaves, so I stamped four of those falling from the tree. After stamping the PTI Vintage Picnic Sentiments sentiment (ha) in Pumpkin Pie, I used a ruler and SU Really Rust marker to draw the border.
Hope you are inspired by the fabulous challenge this week! See more close-ups, cards & such at my blog (direct link): corgi creations

Absolutely love this - I have the Out on a Limb set and haven't used it in a while because I've been stumped for ideas. Thanks for inspiring me.

Way to go, Meg! I love that you used kraft as the base card with the warm colors of fall. The few scattered leaves on the bottom finish this off so well. Beautiful!
