A little late, but this is my card for SC302. Just getting over the flu and trying to play catch up today.
Bottom layer is black with DCWV textured CS on top. Black square is cut with a nestie and Victorine Originals butterfly is popped up on that. The butterfly is gold embossed and colored with markers. Underneath is a chunk of ribbon.
I punched a border on the rust piece and added some embroidery thread and a flower charm.
Oval is cut with a coluzzle and decorated with a swirl from the punched border. Sentiment is Victorine Originals. tfl

What a lovely card, Carol! I thought that butterfly was done with the faux mosaic technique...so very cool. And your choice of colors for the paper and trims shows what a practiced eye you have. Wonderful!!!!

This is a beauty for the SC today! I love the changes you made and flipping the sketch a bit. My fav thing is your thread as I am a HUGE fan of using it on cards. LOVELY, friend!
