I know, I know, it's not the Inspiration Challenge, but Julia's Ways to Use It...but I just couldn't help it. The Moxie Tuesday Trigger got the muse goin'! So back to Julia's challenge...I needed an orchid spray in my vase so I used the skeleton of an oak leaf lying on my patio. The 'orchid blossoms' are cut from impatiens petals still blooming their little heads off in my garden. The rest of the room was created with Michelle Ward's Green Pepper Press chair. I used a Spellbinder square die to fashion the checkeboard floor. It was inked and embossed several times to get the dark glossy look of the original. The mirrored table was hand drawn and cut from a piece of mirrored paper. I punched dots to make my tiny little black wheels. The vase was also had drawn, chalked and embossed with UTEE to get the look of glass. Talk about hard, to get a grip on such a small piece!!! The lovely damask wallpaper is from Memory Box and the sentiment: Cat's Life Press.
Thank you Julia, for inviting us to think out of the box...I might have just 'run' down to my LSS for some 'flower soft' if I'd stayed in the box!!! And thanks everyone for having a look at my room. Hope you are finding you are livin' some of your dreams come true! One4Joydaily

O-M-Gosh! Susan this is OUTSTANDING! It looks just like your inspiration piece and how clever to even think of using the leaf and petals for your flowers. Amazing work here my west coast friend.

OMGosh, Susan! This is absolutely amazing! Your take on the Tuesday Trigger is just incredible! You have replicated the room with perfection, although I daresay your room is even more gorgeous and artistic than the one in the photo! Bravo! A truly outstanding creation! Hugs!

I just LOVE reading your stories. And the life I dream of probably would be lounging in that chair (instead of sitting in the one at work) LOL Your Orchids are the best.
