This was a tough challenge for me, but I finally found some inspiration from agbark's card for this turkey card.
I got the new Spellbinders' Snowflake Pendant yesterday, so I decided to use that for my turkey's feathers. The pendant was cut twice from vanilla cs and then airbrushed for the autumn colors. I then cut one more from So Saffron and airbrushed it and then cut the individual "feathers" apart and added them. The sentiment is from a new set by Mark's Finest Papers just released called Thankful For You. I also used the wheat stamp from the set to add some texture to the mat layers behind the sentiment. I even used the wheat to give the head a feathered look. Did it work? The beak is a petal from a flower punch and the waddle is the smallest scalloped paisley Spellbinders die. Googlie eyes really make it, don't they?
Thanks for looking. Now go to my blog to follow the MFP blog hop!
